It's the string figure, not the suspenders, that matters here. I was delighted to find the variation of Jacob's Ladder which is called "Grandpa's Suspenders." The kids generally love it, and it makes for an interactive piece which is quite easy to do, even for early primary students. I can readily show them where they need to place a finger from each hand, and simply pull down. Mom's MiniVan on YouTube has a collection of wonderful string game instruction tutorials, and the one below has four variations from Jacob's Ladder, which you have to know first.
